As the Director of Supply Chain Management, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans that optimize the supply chain function and ensure products and services are delivered on time and within budget. You will also be tasked with evaluating current supply chain processes and identifying areas for improvement to increase efficiency and reduce costs. This position requires a driven, detail-oriented individual who can excel in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement supply chain strategies that support business objectives
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to establish strong relationships with suppliers and minimize risks
- Identify and implement process improvements to maximize efficiency and reduce costs
- Manage logistics, transportation, and distribution activities
- Analyze data to forecast future supply chain needs and recommend solutions
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to supply chain management
- Monitor and report on supplier performance to ensure quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management or related field
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and supply chain management software
- Ability to manage complex projects and prioritize workload effectively
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies is a plus
