Position:

We are currently looking to recruit a qualified candidate to join our Indonesia Office as an Accountant.

Main Duties of the Role:

The following are the key duties and responsibilities that will be expected of you within the Firm:

  • Ensures good overall maintenance of accounting system and processing of daily accounting transactions in compliance with local and group reporting.
  • Working with Regional Finance Controller to prepare statutory financial reports and corporate income tax returns (i.e., fiscal correction).
  • Monthly accounting closing, general ledger, and reconciliation.
  • Monthly analyses of financial reports highlighting key result areas and performance.
  • Preparing monthly WHT and VAT returns.
  • Control overheads in accordance with budgets.
  • Preparation of internal and external audit requirements and ensure timely submissions and resolution of issues.
  • Preparation of tax audit requirements and ensure timely submissions and resolution of issues.
  • Ensure compliance with tax and other regulatory requirements.
  • Timely and Effective communication to the Managing Director and Regional Finance Controller of all significant matters which may arise related to the Finance function.
  • Implementation of adequate internal control and ensure adherence to company finance policies.
  • Other ad hoc duties and projects which may be assigned.

Requirements

Essential Skills amp; Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting from reputable university with minimum GPA 3.00.
  • Minimum working experience of 5 years in accounting or related fields.
  • Tax Brevet certification A and B is a plus.
  • Understand the basics of accounting, cash flow reporting, financial reporting, tax, and bank reconciliation.
  • Have a good knowledge of Indonesian Accounting Standard (Pernyataan Standar Akutansi Keuangan or PSAK) and International Financial Accounting Standard (IFRS).
  • Strong accounting and financial analytic skills.
  • Accurate, detailed oriented, and good numeracy skills.
  • A team player.
  • Highly uphold integrity and confidentiality.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Excel.
  • Experience at an international organization is preferred.
  • Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
