Enterprise Security Engineer (Senior) / Team Lead

The Enterprise Security Engineer provides technical leadership to deliver enterprise email security architecture, engineering, implementation, and go-forward support operations. This role is action and solution oriented with a focus on email protection, related security risk assessments, and the security of related collaboration technologies.

Job Description

• Focus on the security posture of all IT infrastructure and end-user devices
• Identify, research and resolve technical problems across multiple office locations and cloud infrastructure
• Maintain passwords, data integrity, and file system security
• Participate in deployment of information technology and infrastructure projects, including assisting co-workers and vendor partners with server migrations and upgrades, desktop and laptop refreshes, and firewall and software deployment and updates
• Support our custom onboarding and offboarding application
• Perform system backups and recovery
• Perform various project-related tasks as needed

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience directly supporting both on-prem and cloud environments with a focus on security
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organization and time-management skills
• The ability to learn new skills and keep current with rapidly changing information technology and ability to transfer knowledge to team members and users
• Expected to help create and follow processes, set and maintain standards, and meet expected SLAs
• Strong documentation and network diagramming skills
