- Responsible for overseeing the Accounts Receivable (AR) function and ensuring that operations are well-run.
- Assist in Payment Channel contract review which involves reviewing key commercial terms and working with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with the AR team and assist in the review of journal entries.
- Assist in monthly closing related tasks.
- Reconciliation and preparation of tax reports (VAT, Withholding Tax).
- Improve the workflow to ensure that routine tasks are being done effectively and find ways to increase efficiency.
- Oversee inventory monthly booking as well as inventory reconciliation.
- Depending on future capacity, this role might involve review of subsidiaries’ management accounts which are done by outsourced accountants and would involve working with the outsourced accountant in different countries.
- Assist with other ad-hoc tasks.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accountancy or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of working experience preferably from Big 4 with audit / public accounting background. Alternatively, we welcome candidates with experience in Fintech or E-commerce industry with the ability to handle large volumes of data in multiple currencies.
- Has excellent initiative to solve problems and propose creative solutions to improve workflow efficiency.
- Fluent in English and comfortable with communicating with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment.
- Good with numbers, detail-oriented and a fast learner with an excellent service attitude.
- Experience in using Netsuite and being well-versed in MS Office would be a plus.
- Ability to join on a short notice will be a plus.
