About Your Role
It’s more than just crafting words and sentences into copy that speaks and navigates.
They need to deeply understand how our vast Indonesian audience feel and decide on things.
Based on that, they should be able to strategize the language delivery and build them into intuitive, resonant product experiences.
If they’re up to help empower Indonesians through content that moves and enlightens, then they are the one we’re looking for.
About Your Responsibilities
- Own the language’s tone and voice on every Bukalapak’s product, and craft those into content our audience able to speak and understand.
- Strategize the content’s copy presentation and delivery, according to a particular user’s needs in the specific context and the product’s business goal.
- Oversee the language consistency across the products and actively advise the related squad if there’s any problem arises.
- Be a solid guardian of our Tone amp; Voice and other writing guidelines.
- Collaborate with fellow Product Designers (UX Researcher amp; UX Designer) to design solutions for the product experience.
- Help the team to create marketable products that communicates well for the locals.
Requirements
What you need to have (i.e., Minimum Qualifications)
- Speaks Bahasa Indonesia as first language.
- Have at least two years experience as a writer.
- Preferably graduated from Linguistic or Communication Studies majors.
- Preferably have worked in tech companies, advertising agencies or media companies.
- Able to provide latest portfolio or sample writings.
