Senior Network Engineer

• Setup amp; maintain our on-premise infrastructure, especially on the networking side, for both staging or production environments
• Ensure all relevant network security measures are in place for our infrastructures.
• Proactively monitor our infrastructure for anomalies and error detections. This also includes implementing a smart alerting system to assist in monitoring our infrastructures.
• Troubleshoot possible issues with infra networking.
• Collaborate with third party vendors to maintain / update various components on our infra.
• Detect necessary optimizations and propose plans for its executions
• Perform analysis on system performance and capacity planning/adjustments.
• Develop and implement best practices for Disaster Recovery and Backup restore

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of working experience as an Network Engineer. Sysadmins or SRE may have the relevant skills for this position.
• Highly experienced in dealing with on-premise/colocation related setups (ports, subnets etc) and issues.
• Highly skilled in system network setup and security like Firewall, Switch, Router, VPNs
• Understands the fundamental strategies needed in securing and monitoring an IT infrastructure.
• Self motivated to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and threats that may affect our infrastructures security.
• Experience in integration or implementation with Cloud Provider (AWS/GCP) is a big big plus.
• Experienced in working with both Linux and Windows Servers.
• Experienced in configuring and supporting physical server and virtualization.
• Having experience in Capital Market or Financial Service industry is preferred
