- Oversee day to day operation in Finance for retail business units, including but not limited to AP and General Ledger.
- Perform 3-way matching of vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of recording for Financial Reporting.
- In-charge for Finance Reporting for retail business unit, ensure completeness posting of month-end information, completeness check of accruals account for month-end closing, and report to the Country Finance Manager.
- Liaise with the Finance Transformation Team to establish process and control.
- Lead the retail business units and warehouse planning process, including creating annual budgets, forecasts and relevant KPIs (set warehouse goals in collaboration with executive management). Provide insight and commentary for all major variances from these targets.
- Provide financial guidance for all warehouse capital investments and related strategic justifications.
- Maintain accurate cost data for all products in the warehouse, safeguard company assets and ensure integrity of the financial data.
- Serve as the primary contact for external auditors and other third-party regulators relating to warehouse operations. Prepare year-end schedules for auditors.
- Provide support on business initiatives, working with inventory teams, streamlining processes and reducing any financial liabilities to the company.
- Liaise with the Operation Team to solve any issue.
- Other ad hoc report analysis as required by management.
Who We Are Looking For
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting from reputable university
- Minimum of 6-10 years working experience in a retail, warehouse or distribution company, and knowledge of the accounting function in this environment (including warehouse reconciliation, loss and adjustment reports, inventory transaction, billing and AP management
- Have strong skills in accounting, finance, and business administration.
- Advanced Excel skills
- An analytical thinker with strong problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Good project management skills to implement multiple initiatives concurrently
- Excellent written and oral skills in English amp; Bahasa
- Good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to identify, analyse and communicate variances between actual results, budget and forecast
- Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
