Senior Accountant Associate

• Preparing journal entries to record transactions such as payments on loans, dividends paid to shareholders, or purchases of equipment.
• Investigating and resolving accounting errors and discrepancies, including those involving theft or fraud.
• Preparing financial reports for internal use such as budgets, expense reports, and cash flow projections.
• Preparing financial statements and reports including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and other documents that track the company’s financial status.
• Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
• Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.
• Maintain fixed asset register and calculate monthly depreciation expense.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 3+ years experience in accounting or auditing.
• Strong financial analysis skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational and stress management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
